The Minister of Finance Neal Rijkenberg has called for disciplined action and shared responsibility in strengthening tax compliance across the Kingdom.
Speaking at the Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) Regulations Briefing, the Minister emphasised that the time for policy declaration has passed and the time for action has begun.
Guided by the 2026/27 Budget theme of Agape Love: Love in Action for Economic Transformation, he highlighted the importance of closing the E4 billion tax gap, protecting compliant businesses, and safeguarding the nation’s economic future.
The enforcement of the TCC Regulations strengthens integrity at key transaction points, ensuring fairness, accountability, and responsible participation in nation building.
